Maryam is a Senior Learning Facilitator and Mentor at 8billionideas, leading the UAE facilitation team, and working with students across the globe to give them the skills and belief to change the world. Prior to this, Maryam was a neuroscience researcher working on an adolescent mental health study at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London for two years, having completed a Master of Science in Neuroscience there in 2020. Maryam completed her Bachelor of Science with Honours in Pharmacology at the University of Hertfordshire in 2017, and has worked in various industries since, developing an enthusiasm for all things mental wellbeing. She cares deeply about equipping young people with the skills and guidance they need to confidently navigate their futures.
